Wow, has anyone seen this? The Shelby GT500 is Ford’s replacement for the GT, aimed at offering Mustang enthusiasts something to buy while SVT is working on building the new Cobra Mustang.

Apparently, this thing makes right at 500 horsepower and has a full 3 year 36,000 mile warranty from Ford. Pretty impressive, especially considering it costs less than the Corvette. If I wasn’t a Mustang fan before, I probably am now.

Laminated glass is essentially two pieces of glass sandwiching an inner layer of a polycarbonate material. Laminated glass holds together rather than shattering into shards. Bulletproof glass uses thicker glass than ordinary windshields and a more specialized, high tech inner polycarbonate sheet. When a bullet is fired at the glass, it pierces the first layer of glass but is stopped by the polycarbonate layer.
