Our Story of Vinyl Fencing

Vinyl products are one of popular choices for home improvement projects - vinyl flooring, vinyl blinds and vinyl fences. You could find vinyl blinds in majority of homes nowadays. Vinyl fences have many advantages over wood fences that most home owners use in their backyard. Vinyl fences are not as popular as they desire to be.

Moving into a new house last summer, we decided to try vinyl fencing. With so many things going on in our new home - notifying our waste management company (environmental services are always a priority in a new community), taking kids to their new school, window coverings etc. When it finally comes to work on the backyard, we have only three weeks before the deadline set by the home owner association.

Looking at the list of fencing companies in our local yellow page, and browsing and searching the Web, we were able to get a list of 5 companies as the potential service providers for the fencing. After talking to the customer service reps of each company on our list, three out of five weren”t interesting in doing vinyl fencing. For the other two, we”ll have to wait for 2 weeks before they sending someone to do the measurement. This definitely wasn”t going to meet the deadline for landscaping.

The next day, we saw a beautiful backyard elegantly rendered with vinyl fencing a few blocks away from our house and the owner was enjoying the sun under a giant patio umbrella. Interesting enough, he happened to the owner of a not-well-know fencing company with a lot of experience in vinyl fencing. Watching the professionals doing the installation, after all, the installation of vinyl fencing is quite simple. We”ll make it a DIY project next time if we will ever use vinyl fencing again.

We”ve been in our new home for over six months now. Summer greens are now covered by winter snows in the backyard. And vinyl fences stand there with a smile.
